I love to read, not super-love-to-read, but i love to read especially before going to sleep. It relaxes my optic nerves, my strained eyes and my exhausted mind after a long day of work, may it be a boring or busy day.
Currently, I’m reading the widely-known novel of the author Jane Austen, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. I don’t know what brought me into Classics…weird right?? I’m still on the first few chapters of the book, so I still can’t provide my opinions about it, but I know there are so many of you guys have read it already, ‘coz it’s a very old novel (that’s why it’s genre is under Classics).
So can you tell me how was it?
After I finish reading this, I’m planning to watch the movie online and compare which one is better. Well, the book is always better than the movie itself! Haha.
I bought the book when I was on vacation last May in my home country. It was from The National Book Store and it cost me around $4 (and again, it’s on sale).
Out of curiosity, I bought two more classic books including EMMA by Jane Austen and ROMEO AND JULIET by Shakespeare. All at the same cost price. That time, I was thinking that I should buy the books because I wouldn’t be able to find in any UAE bookstores, so I kinda binged book shopping I guess.
Previously, I have read plenty of non-fiction novels written by well-known authors such as Sophie Kinsella, Jojo Moyes, E.L. James, Danielle Steel, Sarah Dessen, Paulo Coelho, Nicholas Sparks and many more.
