How To Get There

Address: Zabeel Park, Gate 6 & Gate 7, Area – B, Dubai, UAE

By Bus

From the Dubai Dolphinarium, you can catch a bus from the Grand Hyatt Hotel bus stop, which is about 1.5 km from Dubai Dolphinarium. Then, ride the bus to Max Metro Bus Stop Seaside. From here, you can reach Garden Glow after a short 20-minute walk. This is certainly a good option if you are on a budget and also want to experience the city’s public transit like a true local. The travel time will be around 50 minutes.

By Metro

To get to Dubai Garden Glow from Dubai Dolphinarium, you can ride the Green Line Metro from Dubai Healthcare City Metro Station 2, which is a 13-minute walk away from the Dolphinarium.

After riding the train to BurJuman Metro Station 2, switch on to the Red Line and ride the metro to Max Metro Station 2. From here, the gates for Garden Glow Dubai are about 20 minutes of walking distance. The entire journey will take around 44 minutes with the majority of it being on foot. This will allow you to take in the sights at a leisurely pace and witness Dubai like a local.

By Self-Drive

If you’re an experienced driver, then you may opt for driving yourself or with your friends directly to the Dubai Garden Glow which is located on Zabeel Park, Gate 6 & Gate 7, Area – B, Dubai.

For us, we visited on a Friday night and it was a smooth drive without any traffic. You may want to visit during the weekday so that less visitors will be around. The less people, the better your pictures will be! 😁

Booking The Tickets

We booked our tickets from Klook last 19th of May 2023. The ticket costs AED 60 ($16.30) per adult, but after discount from Klook, it was AED 54 ($14.70). Tickets are free for children below 3 years old, so my daughter at that time, was entrance-free.

Our ticket was only valid for entering the Garden Glow and Dinosaur Park, while there was a separate fee for the Magic Park.

It was a hassle-free booking since you just have to book it online, even during the same day.

Our Experience

Visiting the Dubai Garden Glow was a great experience especially for my daughter who loves to see colorful lights. Becca was so amused with all the blinking rainbow lights forming flowers and other different structures.

Just like this Flower Valley, as if all the flowers were in full bloom even during the night. The colors are really enchanting!

We enjoyed strolling through the theme park and seeing all those colorful Light Structures such as those forming mushrooms, hearts, tigers, a huge beautiful peacock and so many more! 😍

Aside from that, Becca enjoyed listening as life sized Dinosaurs’ roars and moves along the Dinosaur Park. Other children enjoyed as well, even adults! 😍

Inside the park, we found retail shops and café stalls selling a variety of items including personalized glowing shirts, kids’ toys, fast food, snacks and other local desserts.

We bought a shawarma sandwich and luqaimat from one of the food shops and we loved their fresh servings! 😋

There was also one Magic Park inside the Glow Garden Theme park.

The Magic Park is an exhibition place where one can get mesmerized with several optical illusions utilized in Visual Arts. There were 3D artworks and geometric forms to create hypnotic optical effects.

However, you would need to either pay for an additional fee or upgrade your existing ticket if you wish to enter.

For us, we didn’t choose to enter because we knew Becca wouldn’t be able to appreciate illusions at this time. Perhaps we could revisit again soon once she grew older.

All in all, it was a great adventure.

We visited around May, so for those who wish to experience this beautiful world of imagination, I suggest to visit the place during the cooler months which is around October to February. At this time, your visit will be much more comfortable. That’s why the park is closed for maintenance during the hotter months. For an instance, the park is now closed from July and will reopened again on September, though you would have to recheck their opening and timings.

Despite the said climate, we really enjoyed our visit. There’s no time wasted when it comes to making memories with your family. It was a great night stroll and a wonderful place to see that one must try.
