Oooooh!!! I freakin’ love SPICY foods! And I have cravings for them.
Apparently, I just purchased a pack of Volcano Noodles 2x for last nights’ snack-slash-dinner and this is one of the spicy noodle products by Samyang as well. The pack is in red and it costs around $2 per pack. There’s an ongoing sale so I think the price is much lesser than normal.
Two weeks ago, I got a super duper huge craving with this after watching a Spicy Noodle Challenge in YouTube. It is mouth-watering and feels like my tongue wants to try something very spicy every time it passes on my mind. Have you ever feel that way before?
So to satisfy myself, I went to a small supermarket nearby and buy one pack only, (Remember?! I am an overseas worker and need to save money, so I only bought a pack) and while cooking, you can smell the aroma of the boiling noodles. Oohmygod… IT.IS.ALREADY.SPICY!!!
I actually ate it with a half of a Club Sandwich to at least fight the spiciness and the heat which I can feel on my mouth and lips. While eating, I always feel the need to swallow without chewing it, just to avoid tasting the noodles. After 10 minutes, just because it didn’t take me time to chew, I finished it quickly! And told (with tears on my eyes) oohmigod, I am not gonna eat this agaaaain.
In conclusion, my craving was satisfied, but I am not so sure when I’m gonna eat that again. Maybe something lesser spicy next time… what do you think??

May every meal remind us of God’s goodness and His daily provision. May our tables always be filled not only with delicious food but also with love, gratitude, laughter, and the company of those who matter most.
