Visiting The View at The Palm, Jumeirah Dubai

The View at The Palm is located on level 52 of The Palm Tower where one can find a creative exhibition that showcases the development of the Pal island. The landmark also has a café inside, an interactive aquarium-themed tunnels and a souvenir shop.

Booking the tickets

We booked our The Palm View tickets online along with our Burj Khalifa At The Top tickets via the website Headout.com. Same as the latter, we only booked tickets for 3 adults as my daughter, who was 10months old at the time, was given free entry.

Once you book your ticket online, you will receive a voucher by email, it has a QR code which you would need to scan upon entry.

Along with this online voucher, you may also bring a valid photo ID in case proof of verification is needed. Though, it was not required from us when we went there.

Kindly note that the ticket we booked could only be used during the non-prime hours.

  • Mon to Thu: 9am to 3pm & 7pm to 10pm
  • Fri to Sun: 9am to 3pm & 7pm to 12am

If you would like to experience the view during sunset, then ticket prices will be different.

From 100 AED ($27.25), ticket price will be 158 AED ($43.05) during prime hours which is around 4pm to 7pm.

Moreover, children ages 4 to 12 years old, ticket price will be 69 AED ($18.80).

Ticket Redemption Point

  • Show your ticket at The View at The Palm.
  • Address – Palm Jumeirah Rd, The Palm Tower, 52ed Floor – Dubai – United Arab Emirates

How to get there

By Taxi/ Tram

The View at The Palm is located around 34 kilometers from the Dubai International Airport. The best way to cover this 35-minute long drive is by hiring a taxi or self-driving. You will need to get onto E11 from Casablanca St/ D70 to reach the airport. Alternatively, you can take the Dubai Tram from the airport.

By Bus

The closest bus stop is Palm Jumeirah Monorail Station. It’s a quick 3-mins walk to the attraction. You could board buses 8 and N55 to get you there. Other bus lines are also available.

By Self-drive

As for us, right after we left Burj Khalifa in the morning, we proceeded straight to The Palm Jumeirah in the afternoon and reached there after 2pm. We drove on the same way going to The Atlantis, there were signs showing the way to The Palm observation deck. Apparently, since we’re still unfamiliar with Dubai roads, we always use the Waze app – and we find it very useful.

This shot is from up above the observation deck. I posted it here just to show you the road you need to take to get to the building. The main road shown on the center while the tram shown on right side of this picture.

Hope it helps. 🙂

Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.

The Experience

In The Palm View Jumeirah, you will be able to have a bird’s eye view of the whole The Palm Island which was definitely astounding. I couldn’t imagine the effort that has been put on to this island to shape it as a Palm tree. It was unique at the same time since it was our first time to see a wonderful place like it!

I can say that it was one of a kind experience and the price was all worth it.

As an expatriate, who knows how long we’ll be here in Dubai, at least we got the chance to have a glimpse on this beautiful island.

Moreover, I’m very happy to share this experience with my beautiful family, most especially my mother, my husband and my cute little daughter.

Thanks for the experience! 🙂

Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend.

The Climate

We went there in the month of May, when it was already hot in Dubai, but not excruciating hot. At that time of the year, you could still visit landmarks and engage in some outdoor activities.

However, it’s still always recommended to visit such places during winter as the climate will be cool and you’ll be more comfortable.

In addition, to experience minimal crowds, you may visit on weekdays between 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM or 07:30 PM to closing. For spectacular sunset views, visit between 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM, but as aforementioned there will be price difference during these times.

We’re so busy watching out for what’s just ahead of us that we don’t take time to enjoy where we are.
