Choosing The Right Friends

I’m the kind of person who prefers small number of friends than joining a huge circle of friends. I choose those who are TRUE to me and to their own self, whom I can TRUST with and God-fearing. Even though our beliefs, personality and life decisions don’t match, it doesn’t mean that ‘friendship’ couldn’t exist between us.

I’ve met few persons (which you and I may consider a “friend”) in life who will try to change you, in terms of principles and views in life. Some will even provide you a lot of NEGATIVITIES and try to prove that they are always right with all their opinions. Some will try to discourage you from attaining your real dreams in life. One of the worst things is that some people will INSTIGATE you and other people around you and formulate fake stories…why?? Because they feel happy when people around them are fighting and they pretend that they are nice, kind and sacred. LOL

I know every one of us met the same person’s abovementioned. We cannot avoid them because God made them, LIFE IS BORING without the people with this kind of personality. Especially for people like me who works in a foreign country, there is a strong possibility of meeting co-workers or even ordinary people from different races, as we know, they really vary us when it comes to culture, religious beliefs, social attitudes, and etcetera.

So what I truly suggest is to BE COOL and BE YOU! Don’t let others change your perceptions, affect your decisions and obliterate your motivations and insights in life. Your own actions will determine your future whether to fail or achieve your dreams.

Why I Started Blogging: From My First Blog in 2019 to My Return in 2026

“Choose friends who bring out the best in you, and strive to be that kind of friend to others.”

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
— Proverbs 27:17 (NIV)

May God surround us with friends who encourage us, strengthen our faith, and walk beside us through every season of life. And may He also help us become the kind of friend whose kindness, love, and faithfulness reflect His goodness to everyone we meet.
