2020: A Fresh Start

It is an exciting year indeed, full of life and blessings. Sometimes we reminisce our past and think about what we did wrong and what we did to make it right. Reliving those moments makes us grateful for the future which we look forward to. While there are a lot of things in the past we wish we could change, instead, there are better ways you may do which are a lot easier.

Keep your worries away and leave your grudges from the past. It feels so good to live another year in peace with a fresh start. All the issues previously encountered are now just a part of your life, some to be remembered and the others to forget. Not all of what we experienced brought us good memories, some did not. But, that’s life right? It would be boring if you are always at ease. Some discomfort is fine as long as you are able to handle it. Resentments are supposed to be disposed of. It is not good to keep hatred with you forever. It’s significantly heavy to carry, don’t you feel?

Open your mind to new ideas. A new opportunity arises when a certain idea strikes your mind. It just depends on how you articulate, use it and develop it. It is also good to ask other people’s opinion. It will really help a lot to widen your perspective.

Get out of your comfort zone. Meeting new people would let you know about the thing outside your little circle of coziness. Make new friends at work, at the church or any other random places which seems most impossible to get friendly with a stranger.

Do something for the first time. Aside from doing something you are not able to do before, try travelling to places you have never been. It is very good for the soul and wellbeing. Going alone or with somebody is really a nice way to start anew.

Change your daily life pattern. There is no need to modify your body clock totally. Maybe you can add something up to your everyday ritual such us a workout routine.

Be fit and eat healthy. This is probably the easiest. If you would like to do something right this year, this might work for you. Get up from your comfy bed, wear your workout clothes and go to the gym, or why not a 30-minute jogging as a start, could be before or after work. It is very important to focus on our health because if you got sick, how are you be able to the rest tasks aforementioned, right?

Read more. Reading books, for me, is not just a hobby. It is the best relaxing way to relieve stress from the day’s work. It provides inner peace and a “break” from our “digital” life. We have been spending most of our day with our gadgets and computers may it be for our professional work or just for entertainment. Reading helps to relieve eye strain

Now, kick some ass.

Aside from forgiving those who have sinned to me and forgiving myself for my own shortcomings, I am certain that I have enough strength and courage to face the upcoming waves of challenges. Together with God, my family and my husband, this year will be interestingly stimulating.

Full of hope and with lots of opportunities coming in, with my new interest in blogging, I hope I would learn a lot from it. This is my own way of getting out of my bubble. I have just started in this industry a month ago and I believe there are several things for me to learn. I look forward to figuring things out from other bloggers as I joined social groups where I could ask for help and advice in order to formulate a proper blog post. I hope I would be able to figure out my own niche as there are a lot of subjects in my mind such us cooking, crafting, travelling, and many more. I’m still trying to find my blogging “direction” and hopefully, this year will be good to me.

Move on. Get up. Push forward.

Happy New Year!
